EKSTROM, Edwin William

Edwin William Ekstrom was born on October 5th 1900 to Ivar Johansson & Arvida Carolina [Samuelsson] Ekstrom in Superior, Wisconsin. He lived in Duluth, Minnesota for 48 years.

Mr. Ekstrom was inducted into the U.S. Army on September 21st 1942.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, Signal Corps, in the European Front (specifically, North Africa) as a Private (PVT).

PVT Ekstrom was transported back to the U.S. aboard the USS Antaeus (AS-21). 

Mr. Ekstrom died on February 9th 1951 at 50 years of age. He is buried at Bethany Cemetery in Duluth.
