Eino E. Walkama

Eino E. Walkama entered the Army on October 2, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Makinen, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician 5th Grade in construction with Battery B of the 618th Field Artillery Observation Battalion in the Aleutian Islands.

He was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, and World War II Victory Medal.

Mr. Walkama was honoralby discharged on November 3, 1945, at Camp Gruber, Oklahoma.
