Eino J. Haataja

Eino J. Haataja enlisted in the Army on November 2, 1939 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Sergeant 1st Class and mess sergeant with Company A  of the 422nd Infantry Regiment in Northern France.

Mr. Haataja was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star and two overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged October 8, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
