Eino T. Wierimaa

Eino T. Wierimaa was inducted into the Army on February 3, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Aurora, Minnesota.

He served as a Master Sergeant and mechanical supervisor with H and S Company of the 153rd Engineer Battalion in New Guinea and the Southern Philippines.

Mr. Wierimaa received the Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, three overseas service bars and Philippine Liberation Medal with one bronze star.

He was honorably discharged on November 1, 1945, at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
