Elden T. Johns

Elden T. Johns served during World War II in the U.S. Navy enlisting on June 19, 1943.

Mr. Johns’ highest rank in the Navy was Store Keeper 3rd Class. He was responsibe for issuing and accounting for all stock and clothing aboard ship.

He was discharged on May 5, 1946.

Elden Johns was born in Sibley, Iowa, the son of Earl and Una Johns, in 1925.

“I spent two years in the North Pacific, stationed on the Aleutian Islands, and one year stateside. Came home in June of 1945 and was discharged on May 5, 1946.”
