Emil C. Mattson

Emil C. Mattson of Aurora, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on Oct. 14, 1942.

He was a Technician 5th Grade and a halftrack driver with Headquarters Company, Command A, 10th Armored Division in the Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe.

Mr. Mattson received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with three bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and an overseas service bar.

He was discharged on Aug. 26, 1945.
