Ernest J. Sackary

Ernest J. Sackary was inducted into the Army on April 24, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician Fifth Grade and truck driver with the Quartermaster Corps in India-Burma, Central Burma, and China campaigns.

Mr. Sackary was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged September 28, 1945, at Fort Riley, Kansas.
