Ernest L. Nelson

Ernest L. Nelson of Orr, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on March 3, 1943.

He was a Technician 4th Grade in Battery A of the 456th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe.

Mr. Nelson received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with 5 bronze battle stars. American Campaign Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and three overseas service bars.

He was discharged October 31, 1945.
