Eugene R. Trucano

Eugene R. Trucano entered the Army on August 20, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Tower, Minnesota.

Mr. Trucano served as a Private First Class and ambulance driver with the 463rd Medical Company in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

He was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and three overseas service bars.

Mr. Trucano was honorably discharged on November 1, 1945, at Camp Grant, Illinois.
