GREENE, Evelyn Ruth

Evelyn Ruth [Rudd] Greene was born on May 22nd 1895 to Richard & Martha [Mclaughlin] Rudd. She married James Lee Greene and started a family.

Ms.Greene enlisted in the Army Air Corps of the Women's Army Corps (WACs) on December 19th 1943, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Home of entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

She served as a Private First Class and classification specialist with the 4000th Army Air Forces Base Unit in Wright Field, Ohio.

PFC Greene was awarded the World War II Victory Medal.

She was honorably discharged June 12th 1945, at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.

Ms. Greene died on July 24th 1959 at 64 years of age. She is buried at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing, Minnesota.
