Floyd D. Olson

Floyd D. Olson entered the Army on May 16, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Duluth, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician 4th Grade with the 35th Infantry Division in Rome-Arno, North Apennines, and Po Valley.

He was awarded the following: Bronze Star Medal, Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Service Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Driver and Mechanic Badge, and three overseas service bars.

Mr. Olson was honorably discharged on December 15, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
