Francis E. Wivell

Francis E. Wivell entered the Army on January 12, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.

Mr. Wivell served as a Technician 5th Grade and detector with the 539th Engineer Light Platoon Company in the Aleutian Islands Campaign.

He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, World War II Victory Medal, and two overseas service bars.

Mr. Wivell was discharged on December 24, 1944, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.
