Frank D. Giannini

Frank D. Giannini of Chisholm, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on December 13, 1943 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Private First Class and rifleman with Company F of the 28th Infantry Regiment of the 8th Infantry Div., in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe.

Mr. Giannini was awarded the Army Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaigne Medal, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged January 6, 1946 at Camp Shelby, Miss.
