Frank L. Strumbel

Frank L. Strumbel entered the Army on October 9, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Eveleth, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and medical technician with the 36th Army General Hospital in Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno, Southern France, and Rhineland.

Mr. Strumbel was awarded the following: Meritorious Unit Award, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with four bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and five overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on November 30, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
