George F. Ahlfors

Mr. Ahlfors entered the Army on April 25, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Eveleth, Minnesota. 

He served as a Sergeant with Company A of the 798th Military Police Battalion in Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana. He also served as a clerk in the India-Burma campaign.

He received the following: Bronze Star Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Presidential Unit Citation, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, American Theater Campaign Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal.

Mr. Ahlfors was honorably discharged on January 27, 1945, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.
