George J. Voiovich

George J. Voiovich entered the Army on January 29, 1943, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Aurora, Minnesota.

Mr. Voiovich served as a Technician Fouth Grade and water supply technician with Headquarters and Service Company of the 34th Engineer Battalion in the Western Pacific and Ryukyu Islands.

He was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and five overseas service bars.

Mr. Voiovich was honorably discharged on December 23, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
