George L. Wilde

George L. Wilde was inducted into the Army on March 22, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Virginia, Minnesota.

 He served as a Private and warehouse foreman with the 212th Signal Depot Company in Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno, North Apennines and Po Valley, Italy.

Mr. Wilde was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with four bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and four overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on October 10, 1945, at Camp Grant, Ilinois,
