George Salin

George Salin entered the Army on August 5, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Zimm, Minnesota. 

He served as a Private and hospital orderly with Company B of the 95th Medical Gas Treatment Battalion in Rome-Arno during the Italian campaign.

Mr. Salin received the following: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and four overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on November 9, 1945 at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.
