George T. Choban

George T. Choban was inducted into the Army on June 27, 1941.

He was a corporal and a cannoneer with Battery B, 866th Anti-Aircraft Automatic Weapons Battalion in the Southern Philippines and Ryukyu Islands in the Pacific Theater.

He received the:

Good Conduct Medal,
American Defense Service Medal,
Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Service Medal,
Philippine Liberation Medal with two bronze stars and
seven overseas service bars.

He was discharged on Oct. 26, 1945.
