Gordon H. Nelson

Gordon H. Nelson was inducted into the Army on April 24, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Buhl, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician 5th Grade and as an auto mechanic with Headquarters Company of the Reception Station 16 and WDPC in the Western Pacific.

Mr. Nelson was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, World War II Victory Medal fand our overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on October 12, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
