Gordon Wild, Jr.

Gordon Wild, Jr. enlisted in the Army on March 21, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and antitank gun crewman with the Service Detachment in Tunisia, North Africa; and Naples-Foggia, Italy.

Mr. Wild received the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on October 9, 1945, from Service Detachment, 1777th Service Command Unit, Schick General Hospital, Clinton, Iowa.
