Harold E. Schur

Harold E. Schur was inducted into the Army on April 29, 1941, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Mountain Iron, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician Fifth Grade and postal clerk with the Americal Division in the Guadalcanal Campaign.

He received the following: Bronze Star Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Presidential Unit Citation with Oak Leaf Cluster, Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Service Medal with one bronze battle star, American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and five overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on June 14, 1945, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.
