RAUVOLA, Harold Merle

Harold Merle Rauvola was born on June 30th 1927 to Oscar Hjalmar & Hilda Elizabeth [Heiskari] Rauvola in Floodwood, Minnesota.

Mr. Rauvola enlisted in the U.S. Navy on July 30th 1945. He rose to the rank of Chief Petty Officer (CPO). Petty Officer Rauvola was honorably discharged from service August 23rd 1945 just days after the Japanese surrender.

After his service he returned home, went to college and married Maymie Viola Lillian [Dalbacka] and they started a family. He taught science at Floodwood Hish School.

Mr. Rauvola died on September 3rd 2016 at 89 years of age in Tower, Minnesota. He is buried at Park Hill Cemetery in Duluth, Minnesota.
