Harry S. Selinski enlisted in the Army Air Corps on November 23, 1939, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Staff Sergeant, radio operator and aircraft mechanic with the 61st Troop Carrier Wing in Algeria, Tunisia, North Africa; Sicily, and Naples-Foggia, Italy.

He received the following: Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with four bronze battle stars, American Defense Service Medal, American Theater Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and two overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on September 5, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
