Harvey J. Vack

Harvey J. Vack was inducted into the Army on April 29, 1941, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Viriginia, Minnesota. 

Mr. Vack served as a Private First Class and surgical technician with Company C of the 109th Medical Battalion in Algeria, Fr. Morocco and Tunisia, North Africa; and the Rhineland.

He was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and six overseas service bars.

Mr. Vack was honorably discharged on May 31, 1945, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.
