Henry M. Jarvi

Henry M. Jarvi of Hibbing enlisted into the Army Air Corps on December 3, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Staff Sergeant and air crew radio operator and mechanic with the 312th Troop Carrier Squadron of the 349th Troop Carrier Command in England and France. He also served with the 807th Army AirForces Base Unit in the European Theater.

Mr. Jarvi received the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on February 20, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
