VIEBAHN, Hubert Earl

Hubert Earl Viebahn was born in Aitkin, Minnesota on May 13th 1923. His parents were Charles & Elizabeth (Toms) Viebahn.

Mr. Viebahn moved to the state of Washington for work and enlisted in the Army from there at Seattle. He served during World War II in the Philippines, Japan and Germany. He married Ria-Hammer on September 29, 1948 in Bad Kissingen, Germany.

After the war he returned to northern Minnesota settling in Cloquet. He was a member of the Carl Anderson American Legion Post 262 in Cloquet.

Mr. Viebahn died on July 9th 2002 while living at the Community Memorial Nursing Home in Cloquet. He was buried with Military Honors accorded by the Cloquet Combined Honor Guard at Maple Grove Cemetery in Cloquet.
