Jack H. Walled

Jack H. Walled was inducted into the Army on May 30, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Gilbert, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and medical aidman with Company B of the 83rd Chemical Mortar Battalion in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

Mr. Walled was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and four overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on December 7, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
