Jacob Modrich

Jacob Modrich was inducted into the Army on April 24, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician 5th Grade and construction machine operator in Burma, India-Burma and China.

Mr. Modrich was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged September 25, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
