James Erickson

James Erickson entered the Navy in September, 1942.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Erickson of Cook, Minn.

He attended the Naval Radio School in Alameda, California. He served a total of twenty months in the South Pacific as an Aviation Radioman 1st Class and was assigned to an aviation patrol squadron service unit at Guadalcanal for six of those months.

He also served at New Georgia, Greene Biak, and Moratai Islands.

He returned to the United States in December of 1944 and was stationed at the Jacksonville Naval Air Station.
