James G. Segan

James G. Segan was inducted into the Army Air Corps on May 25, 1943, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Corporal with the 828th Bombardment Squadron of the 485th Bombardment Group in Rome-Arno, North Apennines, and Po Valley, Italy; Southern France, Northern France, Air Combat Balkans, and Rhineland.

He was awarded the following: Presidential Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal, and European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with seven bronze battle stars.

He was honorably discharged on October 8, 1945, at Sioux Falls AFB, South Dakota.
