James "Jim" Robert Fairley

James Robert “Jim” Fairley served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, aboard the USS Fillmore APA 83.

Mr. Fairley was born on June 6, 1916, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was born to Robert James and Eva (Graves) Fairley.

He graduated from Morgan Park High School. He also attended the University of Minnesota and Anacostia Naval Training Academy, Washington, D.C.

He died on February 7, 2008, in Duluth, Minnesota.
