COCHRAN Jr.-James McSparron-McGregor

James McSparron-McGregor Cochran Jr. was born on April 2nd 1912 to James McSparron Sr. & Margaret Ann [McGregor] Cochran in Bohnsack, North Dakota. The family migrated to Duluth, Minnesota.

Mr. Cochran registerd for military servicce the day after the bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 7th 1941. He was inducted into the U.S. Navy on December 20th 1941.

He served with the Navy SeaBees mostly in service in the Pacific theater of WWII. He rose to the rank of Electrician's Mate 1st Class (EM1c).

EM1c Cochran was honorably discharged on November 23rd 1945. After the war he returned home to Duluth and married Mary [Zubey] Cochran and they atarted a family.

Mr, Cochran died on November 3rd 1985 at 73 years of age in Duluth.
