James T. George

James T. George of Virginia, Minnesota, enlisted in the Regular Navy on November 29, 1942.

He was a Quartermaster 1st Class on the destroyers USS Higbee and USS Mason in the Pacific Theater.

Mr. George was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on November 26, 1948 at San Diego, Calif
