Jane G. (nee Tieberg) Martin of Parkville, Minnesota enlisted in the Army on March 10, 1945.

She was a technician 4th grade and an X-ray technician in the Women's Army Corps at 61st WAC Headquarters, Special Company, and Fitzsimmons Army General Hospital in, Denver.

"Fitzsimmons General Hospital was very important as we had General Mark Clark and General Eisenhower visit. We had the place cleaned spotless for the white-glove inspection."

She was awarded the: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Service Medal, WAC Service Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

She was discharged on Oct. 29, 1946.
