Joe L. Tomasetti

Joe L. Tomasetti entered the Army on September 8, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

Mr. Tomasetti served as a Private First Class and chauffeur with Battery D of the 462nd Coast Artillery Battalion in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

He was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five silver battle stars (representing five campaigns), World War II Victory Medal, and three overseas service bars.

Mr. Tomasetti was honorably discharged on October 17, 1945, at Camp Grant, Illinois.
