John Bozich

Mr. Bozich inducted into the Army April 28, 1942, at Fort, Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and searchlight crewman with Battery B of the 73rd Armored Field Artillery Battalion in Rhineland, Central Europe, and Aleutian Island.

Awarded: Bronze Star Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and five overseas service bars.

Mr. Bozich was honorably discharged October 20, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
