John A. Centa

John A. Centa of Chisholm, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on April 26, 1943.

He was a technician 5th grade and a radio operator with the 1712 Signal Service Battalion in Burma and China.

He received the:

Good Conduct Medal,
American Campaign Service Medal,
Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Service Medal with two bronze battle stars
and an overseas service bar.

He was discharged on Jan. 11, 1946.
