John F. Vavra

John F. Vavra was inducted into the Army on September 20, 1946, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Greaney, Minnesota.

Mr. Vavra served as a Private with the Seventh Cavalry Regiment in the continental U.S. and in the Pacific Theater.

Mr. Vavra was awarded the following: World War II Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal (Japan).

He was honorably discharged on June 10, 1947, at Fort Lawton, Washington.
