John Fritz enlisted in the US Army on August 22, 1945.

He  served as  a Corporal with the Air and Airways Communications Service.

He was sent to Munich, Germany in March of 1946. He also served in Naples, Italy, France, Switzerland, and North Africa.

Mr. Fritz was honorably discharged during a terminal leave.
