CARLSON, John Leander

John Leander Carlson was born on June 24th 1904 to Hewig & Alvina Carlson in Hartford, Connecticut. By 1920 the family made their way to Cook, Minnesota.

Mr. Carlson enlisted for service at Buhl, Minnesota on October 15th 1942. He joined the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private (PVT).

PVT Carlson was honorably discharged on April 5th 1943.

Mr. Carlson died on July 9th 1968 at the age of 68 years. He is buried at Cook Cemetery in Cook, Minnesota.
