John N. Palkovich

John N. Palkovich was inducted into the Army on March 16, 1942.

He was a Private First Class and a demolition specialist with Headquarters, 607th Tank Destroyer Battalion in the European Theater. He was wounded in action on July 12, 1944, in France.

Mr. Palkovich received the: Purple Heart, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with four bronze battle stars, and World War II Victory Medal.

He was discharged on Sept. 25, 1945.
