John Pouchak

John Pouchak entered the Army on July 12, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician Fourth Grade and radio repairman with Battery C of the 882nd Field Artillery Battalion in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe.

Mr. Pouchak was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and one overseas service bar

He was honorably discharged on October 20, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
