John R. Dion

John R. Dion entered the Navy. 

He served as a shipfitter aboard the USS Paducah from November 1940 until March 1941.

He also served as the officer in charge of USN Bureau of Ships Velocity Power School from 1943 to 1945, and coordinator from June to November 1945 both in Treasure Island, Calif.

Mr. Dion was awarded the American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.
