Joseph Anthony Tamillo was born on July 31st 1917 in Sturgeon Lake, Minnesota to Frank & Tillie Tamillo. The family then moved in Duluth soon after.

Mr. Tamillo entered the Army May 11, 1943.

He served as a Technician Fourth Grade.

He married Helen Lenora in 1944.

Mr. Tamillo was honorably discharged on December 5, 1945,

He died on May 7th 1987 at 69 years of age in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is buried at Wood National Cemetery in Milwaukee.
