Joseph F. Tomsich

Joseph F. Tomsich entered the Army on September 17, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Ely, Minnesota.

Mr. Tomsich served as a Private First Class and rifleman with the Seventh Infantry Division in the Aleutian Islands and Central Pacific.

He was awarded the following: Presidential Unit Citation, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and three overseas service bars.

Mr. Tomsich was honorably discharged on October 12, 1945, at Camp Grant, Illinois.
