Joseph J. Sutich

Joseph J. Sutich was inducted into the Army on June 7, 1943, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.  Home at entry: Mountain Iron, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician Fourth Grade, and clerk typist in Rome-Arno and North Apennines, Italy.

Mr. Sutich was awarded the following: Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Good Conduct Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on December 31, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
