Joseph L. Uhle

Joseph L. Uhle entered the Army on August 18, 1943. Home at entry: Buhl, Minnesota.

Mr. Uhle served as a Technician Fourth Grade and locomotive engineer with Company C of the 712th Railway Operating Battalion in Northern France, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

Mr. Uhle was awarded the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on October 10, 1945, at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
