Joseph Milkovich

Joseph Milkovich enlisted into the Army on October 5, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and clerk with Company C of the 718th Railway Operating Battalion in Rome-Arno, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

Mr. Milkovich was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and five overseas service bars.

He was honorable discharged on December 8, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
