Joseph Pucel

Joseph Pucel was inducted into the Army on October 29, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician 5th Grade and auto mechanic with the 289th Ordnance Automotive Maintenance Company in New Guinea and Luzon.

Mr. Pucel was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and the Philippines Liberation Medal.

He was honorably discharged on January 20, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
